IMMEDIATE ENTRY LEVEL OPPORTUNITY – Warehouse Team Member

• Based in our Bowmanville Head Office
• Located off the 401 @ Liberty Ave
• $20/hr to start, with great benefits and additional perks
• Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (40 hours/week)

At PHOENIX A.M.D. INTERNATIONAL INC., we are a high-performing team committed to pushing the boundaries of complementary sales in the Home Furnishing industry. We are seeking a Warehouse Team Member to join our growing, results-focused organization. Based at our Bowmanville Head Office, you will help us deliver an outstanding experience to our English and French clients and partners.

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic about providing excellent service? In this role, as part of a two-person team, you will be essential to our order picking and shipping fulfillment processes, ensuring accuracy and promptness. You will collaborate with external warehouses, our finance team, and other internal teams to ensure smooth order execution, emphasizing efficiency, communication, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order picking and packing: Ensure accuracy and proper packaging of shipments.
2. Product assembly: Stage and prepare components for kit assembly.
3. Processing shipments: Create and manage outgoing shipments using in-house systems.
4. Receiving: Accurately receive and stock incoming shipments.

Ideal Candidate Qualities

We want to meet you if you can demonstrate:

• Efficient management and prioritization of multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in production, orders, and shipments.
• Problem-solving skills that view challenges as opportunities to serve.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications like Excel and Outlook for clear communication.
• Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 60 lbs. Bonus if you can perform basic maintenance or repairs.

Additional Skills (Optional but Preferred)

• Experience in assembly of furniture and displays.
• Forklift certification and experience.

Training will be provided.
