Summary

The Lead Warehouse Associate will be responsible for overseeing the handling of customer products, including loading and unloading of product. This leadership role involves assigning work and work functions to warehouse associates to meet customer needs. Following safety policies and encouraging others to do the same is of great importance.

What You’ll Do:
  • Assign tasks to warehouse personnel through written and/or oral instructions, such as unloading, outbound staging, loading, verifying, and labeling freight.
  • Supervise tasks performed by warehouse personnel.
  • Complete reports and records promptly.
  • Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report them to maintenance.
  • Advise associates on product care, equipment use, storage, shipping, and related issues.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service by assisting warehouse functions when needed.
  • Address safety, quality, and productivity issues with associates.
  • Work cooperatively with other warehouse staff.
  • Follow safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
What We Need from You:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of warehouse experience.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a variable temperature environment.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Helpful Experience (Not Required):
  • Associate’s Degree (AA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Forklift certification/license.
