PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Supports FME Canada’s mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FME Canada Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, this individual will take the lead in all matters pertaining to the shipping, receiving, and storing of Fresenius Medical Care products, as well as maintaining the warehouse environment and equipment.

DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Drive FME Canada culture through values and customer service standards.
• Ensure outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships through timely communication.
• Respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues promptly.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Mentor warehouse staff, ensuring teamwork and commitment to goals. Supervise in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
• Oversee receiving inbound and shipping outbound products according to SOP, including documentation.
• Manage product storage, ensuring integrity, accessibility, and safety.
• Ensure proper quarantine procedures as per SOP.
• Fulfill product destruct orders following SOP.
• Maintain warehouse pest and sanitation records.
• Assist in semi-annual inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operated safely.
• Report safety or operational concerns.
• Provide backup for Customer Service activities as needed.
• Carry a phone when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift license.
• WHMIS training.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Leadership experience.
• Knowledge of warehousing and freight procedures.
• Experience with computerized warehouse systems.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate across departments.
• Forklift operation experience.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: BC and Canadian distribution employees, FUSA.

External: Vendors, freight companies, third-party warehouses, customs brokers, customers.
