Our industry leading client, operating within the digital print media and distribution industry, is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for their local Calgary branch!

The successful candidate will be supervising a team of two Warehouse Associates and spearheading responsibilities including managing shipping and receiving operations, overseeing inventory control, handling warehouse supply procurement, processing customer and branch orders and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

• Ensuring all customer and branch transfer orders are accurate and deadlines are met on a daily basis.
• Delegating time sensitive orders to team members as required.
• Ensuring goods are properly packaged for shipping.
• Monitor performance of warehouse and shipping staff to ensure goals are met.
• Work alongside the Branch Administrator to resolve any internal and customer related issues and keeping operations organized.
• Keeping track of inventory and ordering warehouse supplies as needed.
• Cleaning and organization of shipping area.
• Proving high quality leadership by establishing clear expectations.
• Consider and implement solutions for continuous improvement for warehouse operations.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Complete an RCMP check

Experience:

• 3-5+ years working in a warehouse environment
• 2+ years of managing a team of warehouse employees
• 2+years of shipping/receiving experience

Work Hours:

• Monday – Friday
