Job description

Position: Warehouse Supervisor/Manager
Location: Scarborough, ON
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 + bonus
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to join a dynamic operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, and leading a team of warehouse staff in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will serve as the key point of coordination between teams, while upholding operational standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring minimum 500 orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time
  • Schedule and manage a team of approximately 10 warehouse staff (including pickers, packers, receiving staff, and one delivery truck driver)
  • Ensure efficient flow of goods from receiving to dispatch while maintaining order accuracy and timely delivery
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to operational KPIs and performance targets
  • Enforce safe work practices and ensure a hazard-free warehouse environment
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, safety briefings, and performance updates
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support order fulfillment and resolve operational challenges
  • Support training, development, and coaching of team members
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and health and safety committees
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and scheduling documentation
  • Ensure equipment is safely and efficiently used (note: no forklifts due to ceiling height limitations)
  • Create a structured and motivating work environment that drives results and fosters teamwork
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution environment
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and process-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
  • Experience managing hourly warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain service standards under pressure
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
  • WHMIS and TDG certifications are considered assets
