Leon’s Furniture in Red Deer, Alberta, is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Warehouse Supervisor. The role focuses on leading a busy warehouse, managing shipping/receiving, inventory, and delivery while upholding Leon’s core values of honesty, integrity, and hard work.

The successful candidate will drive team performance, safety, and training, with opportunities for growth in a Canadian-owned company with over a century of experience. Relocation is optional but welcomed.

• Ensure smooth operation of a busy warehouse (shipping/receiving, inventory, delivery).
• Help manage the warehouse team and oversee safety and policy compliance.
• Maintain accurate handling of product and large inventory.
• Lead training and staff development; produce regular warehouse reports.
• Address customer issues and ensure safe delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the smooth operation of a busy warehouse with several areas of responsibility, including shipping and receiving, inventory, delivery, merchandising, packaging and maintenance
• Help manage the warehouse team
• Ensuring the accurate and secure handling of product; balancing a large inventory
• Overseeing maintenance and ensuring safe operation of lift trucks, warehouse bins, delivery trucks, service vehicles
• Training and people development
• Completing, reviewing and distributing warehouse reports regularly
• Resolving customer issues; ensuring safe delivery of product
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are met
• Ensuring general safety and security of store and employees
• Chairing Health and Safety and warehouse meetings
• Other duties as assigned
• Occasional driving of a three-ton truck for customer deliveries
• Class 5 license
