Job summary

MLSE is hiring a Food & Beverage Warehouse Supervisor at Scotiabank Arena to lead the warehouse team, oversee inventory accuracy, and ensure winning fan service. Shifts include morning, afternoon, or evening, with weekend/evening/weekend availability required.

You will manage stock control, schedules, payroll, and performance reviews, while maintaining safety compliance and MLSE service standards. The role demands lifting 25–50 lb items, standing long hours, and adapting to indoor/outdoor

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in warehouse environment.
  • Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and inventory software.
  • Certified WHMIS, Smart Serve, and ServSafe or NFSTP.
  • Knowledge of OHSA compliance.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lb and stand for long periods.
  • Able to work in hot or cold environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and motivate the Warehouse team.
  • Oversee the accuracy and efficiency of inventory and order picking using our Inventory System.
  • Oversee the distribution of product throughout the building.
  • Ensure prompt and friendly service to internal customers with a “do what it takes” approach.
  • Resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively.
  • Assist the Food & Beverage team in the smooth running of events.
  • Administer and maintain stock control.
  • Carry out the administrative functions pertaining to daily operations, hiring, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, counseling & discipline, posting of invoices, transfers, and weekly inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with all related regulations, such as those pertaining to Health & Safety and AGCO.
  • Adhere to MLSE service standards & policies.
  • Lead by example in team management & development, utilizing a “one team” approach; ensure departmental professionalism & winning vision are intact.
  • Participate in special projects & perform other related duties as requested.

Job Description

As a valuable member of the Food & Beverage Warehouse team, you will assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing and leading the warehouse area at the Scotiabank Arena, ensuring the delivery of winning fan service to all guests. You will be instrumental in supporting outstanding fan and staff relations. Please note the shifts for this role will vary and could be in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

Qualifications
  • Previous Supervisory experience in a unionized and/or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Must be available to work weekends, evenings & holidays.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using Excel, Word & Inventory Control Software.
  • Trained in W.H.M.I.S., Smart Serve & ServSafe, NFSTP or equivalent.
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Ability to communicate, motivate & lead effectively.
  • A proactive approach toward day‑to‑day activities & shifting demands.
  • An ongoing awareness & responsiveness to client satisfaction.
  • Must be able to lift large 25‑50 lb items consistently throughout an 8‑hour shift.
  • Must be able to stand & walk for a prolonged period of time during a shift.
  • Must be able to work in various work conditions, dealing with extreme heat or cold, indoors & outdoors.
Please note: this role supports events, which requires availability to work weekday afternons & evenings, and week‑ends.
Job Posting Compensation Range/Rate

$26.27/hour
