Just Recruitment is partnering with a growing business based near Bury St Edmunds, who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the Operations Manager to understand their requirements and expectations, acting as the senior staff on the shop floor.
  2. Support managers and other supervisors in their roles.
  3. Train and support personal development, motivate staff within the framework of Job Descriptions, and competency and skills matrix.
  4. Optimise the utilisation of all assets across the operations.
  5. Ensure that all staff on site operate within current legislation.
  6. Produce regular reports and statistics as required.
  7. Ensure all staff follow work instructions provided, complying with ISO standards ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
  8. Communicate any non-conformances within the ISO management system.
  9. Raise any upcoming changes that could affect the ISO management system.

Skills required:

  1. Numerate and literate.
  2. Ability to communicate at all levels.
  3. Strong attention to detail, demonstrating understanding of providing full, professional, efficient, and effective support to the business and team.
  4. Continuously develop and improve service quality.
  5. Understand business needs by prioritising activity and resources, and regularly reviewing team performance.
  6. Ability to accept and embrace change.
  7. Driven by structure and processes, while able to cope with fluid situations.
  8. Good leadership skills, capable of inspiring, motivating, and organising a talented team.
