Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring they are conducted safely, securely, and efficiently in compliance with local health and safety regulations and company policies.

  • Lead and mentor the warehouse team, promoting a collaborative and organized work environment
  • Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of materials, ensuring proper documentation and efficient space utilization
  • Coordinate with sales and operations teams to meet customer needs and resolve any delivery or receiving issues promptly
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Manage the maintenance schedule for delivery vehicles and material handling equipment
  • Optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline supply chain operations
  • Provide regular performance reports and recommend improvements to senior management
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and implement innovative solutions to enhance warehouse operations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse management and team supervision
  • At least 2 years of hands-on material handling experience
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and inventory control systems
  • Intermediate math skills and analytical thinking
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to develop comprehensive product knowledge relevant to the organization
  • Forklift certification (required for operators)
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed
Additional Information
  • Salary Range - $45,000 - $47,500
