The Opportunity

We are looking for a Warehouse Store Person to join our National Parts Distribution Warehouse. This role is ideal for someone with previous automotive experience who can not only manage warehouse tasks but also assist with dealer parts inquiries, navigate the Foton electronic parts catalogue and respond to emails for help identifying correct part numbers.

This position is well-suited to a self-motivated individual who can work autonomously, self-manage, and take initiative in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and process incoming parts inventory.
• Pick, pack, and accurately label goods for shipment via freight companies.
• Perform inventory stock takes and manage stock locations efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move products.
• Assist with dealer inquiries by navigating the electronic parts catalogue and responding to emails.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow health and safety protocols in all warehouse activities.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in the automotive or parts industry (advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail with good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good computer skills, including experience with electronic parts catalogues (a bonus)
• Excellent communication skills to assist with dealer inquiries via email.
• A current forklift license.
• A current New Zealand car licence with a clean driving record.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• A self-motivated, autonomous worker who takes initiative.
• Neat and tidy presentation.
