About Us:

CHAMPRO is a growing branded manufacturer & distributor of team sports equipment and apparel. We are privately owned and have been delivering high-value, traditional & innovative athletic equipment and apparel via outstanding, integrity-driven customer service for thirty-five years. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Sr Material Handler to join our distribution team.

Position:

The Senior Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of finished goods. Will assist in providing direction on the sequence and priority of task assignments to material handlers and equipment operators.

This position reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and will take direction on task assignments from a supervisor or others as requested.

Essential Functions:

1. Utilizes radio frequency bar code scanners and other information technology to locate and systematically move product.
2. Operates material handling equipment safely.
3. Must be able to communicate cross-functionally and escalate issues to leadership team.
4. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
5. Ensures all material movements are completed accurately and damage-free.
6. Complies with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
7. Utilizes small parcel carrier systems to prepare shipments.
8. Process customer product returns based on approved Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
9. Coordinates the quality and on-time completion of value-added services for key account customers.
10. Executes finished goods replenishment orders.
11. Leverages workflow management tools to ensure proper productivity and staffing levels are achieved.
12. Ensures in-line weight scale is adhered to throughout the business day. Shifts resources as needed.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

1. 2 years’ experience working in a distribution center environment.
2. Fluent in English language (verbal and written).
3. Basic math skills.
4. Previous forklift experience.
5. General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS preferred.
6. Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
7. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
