Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position is ideal for a person with a positive customer service attitude who has the ability and willingness to perform a variety of tasks from interacting directly with customers, to being hands-on in the warehouse.

What you will do :

  • Support Inside Sales by answering questions, promoting our products, and providing exemplary customer service
  • Process customer orders and payments using a computerized system
  • Assist with managing inventory, ordering products, and forecasting
  • Customer order fulfillment. This position involves the picking and preparing of orders and will require strenuous lifting, turning and torsion, and, in some cases, short distance carrying of packaged / bagged product weighing up to, and occasionally over, 50 lbs. if forklift access is not possible. During the busy season, the loading and unloading of customer vehicles will be necessary.
  • The successful candidate must be able to drive and safely operate a forklift. In the loading of outgoing carriers and unloading of incoming containers, there will be instances where product must be manually restacked or repalletized to ensure product is safely contained for racking storage or shipping. Class 3 Drivers License would be considered an asset
  • The maintaining of warehouse safety standards, general administrative duties, and the ability to work as part of a team are also required.
  • This role will also act as the Site Safety Coordinator

The salary range for this role is $25 - $30 per hour. This range is estimated for Warehouse Specialist in Kelowna, BC. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
