Job summary

Linamar Corporation's Skyjack division in Guelph is seeking a materials movement coordinator. This role oversees movement of materials between Skyjack facilities using shunt trailers, forklift, and manual handling to meet tight schedules.

You will work on a day-to-day schedule, load/unload using a forklift, coordinate with supervisors across plants, and support shipping, receiving, and replenishment as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Excel and Outlook.
• AWPT license, or experience operating AWPT equipment.
• TDG certification.
• This position requires you to work outside year round.

Responsibilities

• Move material to and from all three Skyjack locations in Guelph and between Skyjack and external vendors.
• Coordinate shunting between vendors and Skyjack.
• Move trailers safely and in an organized manner.
• Load/unload trucks with a forklift.
• Move finished products between all three facilities.
• Follow a daily pickup schedule and meet tight timelines.
• Support shipping, receiving, and replenishment as needed.
• Enter finished product locations into the MRP system.
• Coordinate moves with supervisors across plants in priority sequence.

Job description

Working under general supervision, this position oversees the movement of materials between Skyjack Guelph facilities; P1, P2 and K1. Also to move material to/from any other assigned facilities/locations. Movement will be with shunt trailer, forklift, and physical handling.

Responsibility :

Move Material to and from all three local Skyjack locations. Also, additional shunting between outside vendors to and from Skyjack.

Movement of trailers, in an organized and safe manner.

Loading/Unloading of truck with forklift.

Moving finished product (Skyjacks) between all three facilities.

Following a daily pickup schedule/ route and adhering to tight timelines.

Supporting other warehouse functions when required ; Shipping, Receiving, Replenishment.

Finished product location movement input through MRP system.

Ability to co-ordinate moves with supervisors, between all plants, in a priority sequence.

Academic/Educational Requirements :

A valid driver’s license is required

Valid AZ licen s e

Required Skills/Experience :
