Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Typing speed 30-35 wpm.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with computers and customized databases.
• Experience in a related clerical or warehouse position is an asset.
• Sage experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ships and receives materials, including preparation of related documents, and unloading shipments (with/out a forklift).
• Inputs all necessary transactions within the database for the movement of wheelchair equipment, including entering new equipment and stocking.
• Primary backup to Inventory Control Clerk.
• Proactively manage the warehouse area and follow up on chairs waiting for approval.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts based on serial numbers and chair size to maintain re-order quantities.
• Monitor cushion stock and re-order as required.
• Confirm shipping details with Occupational Therapists and clients.
• Provide backup to other administrative positions.
• Ensure shipping supplies are well stocked.
• Clean and sweep shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas regularly.
