Job summary

EECOL Electric is seeking a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver for our on-site team in Yellowknife. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, and shipping while operating forklifts and other equipment. Training is provided and the role offers a stable full-time path.

We value safety, reliability, and the ability to work on a team. Compensation ranges from CAD 21.86 to CAD 26.23 per hour with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required / entry level.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and to be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear.
• Has experience or is willing to learn to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and power equipment. All training is provided for the successful candidate.

A Day in The Life of a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

As a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver, you will perform warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, machine operation, as well as general maintenance of assigned areas. You will be on your feet most of the shift as a material handler, using computers, forklifts, and other types of motorized equipment.

• General warehouse/yard organization including stocking shelves
• Assisting customers with inquiries
• Participating in required Safety training

• Compensation Details $21.86 - $26.23 Per Hour

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan,subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, EECOL also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
