Job summary

EECOL Electric is hiring a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver in Cranbrook, BC. You will perform receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and operate forklifts, assisting customers and maintaining warehouse areas.

Requirements include a high school diploma; no previous experience required. Training is provided; you must be energetic and motivated to grow with the company. On-site schedule, with a comprehensive benefits package.

A Day in The Life of a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

As a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver, you will perform warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, machine operation, as well as general maintenance of assigned areas. You will be on your feet most of the shift as a material handler, using computers, forklifts, and other types of motorized equipment.

• General warehouse/yard organization including stocking shelves
• Assisting customers with inquiries
• Participating in required Safety training

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• No experience required / entry level
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and to be able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear
• Has experience or is willing to learn to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and power equipment. All training is provided for the successful candidate.

• Compensation Details $18.22 - $21.86 Per Hour

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan,subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, EECOL also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.In addition, EECOL offers a benefits program for eligible employees, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement savings plans.
