Kal Tire has an opening for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist in Chilliwack, BC. If you prefer hands-on work, like to keep things moving, have a commitment to safety, and enjoy working collaboratively with a high energy team, this might be the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

1. Standard Forklift: Stock and order picking according to daily demand.
2. Shipping and Receiving: Efficiently manage the incoming and outgoing flow of tires and wheels.
3. Physical Stamina: Excel in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and movement throughout the shift.
4. Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area, contributing to the overall organization of the store's warehouse.
5. Inventory Management: Prepare inventory for monthly counts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements:

1. Forklift Experience: Standard Forklift with TSP experience a plus.
2. Valid Driver's License: Hold a clean and valid driver’s license (preferred).
3. Commitment to Safety: Prioritize safety and contribute to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
4. Physical Capability: Ability to lift and maneuver large tires.
5. Previous experience: Shipping and receiving work experience is a plus.
6. Shift Schedule: 3-week rotation:
   • Day shift 7:00am-3:30pm
   • Evening shift 3:15pm-11:45pm
   • Options for Overtime
   • Permanent evenings also available
