Job Description

The Revenue Auditor/Clerk is a part-time union package handling position that performs package audits to minimize lost revenue using DWS machines, GSS Scanners, or scales. The role requires understanding general revenue auditing procedures, effective communication, problem-solving skills, basic research assistance, and time management. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Location: 22 Aero Drive NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 8Z9

Start Time: 4PM (Flexibility required as start times vary depending on sort needs)

Responsibilities

• Perform package audits using DWS Machines and Global Scanning System (GSS), including handling audits
• Weigh packages at DIM weight scanners for accurate readings
• Ensure scanners function properly and packages are correctly positioned for label reading
• Maintain production standards and meet daily performance goals
• Follow UPS safety protocols consistently
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Lift, lower, push, pull, leverage, and manipulate packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Assist in moving packages weighing up to 150 pounds
• Use data scanning devices, measuring tapes, and other equipment requiring fine hand manipulation
• Work at heights, in enclosed spaces, and on uneven surfaces
• Operate in environments with variable temperatures, humidity, dust, dirt, fumes, and noise
• Collaborate effectively in a diverse team
• Work additional hours or overtime as needed
• Bend, stoop, crouch, squat, climb, stand, walk, turn, and pivot throughout the workday (3-5 hours per day, 5 days per week)
• Prepare and coordinate information for internal use and distribution

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication, problem-solving, research, and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
• Accurate and rapid data entry skills
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
