About The Role

The Warehouse Receiving Specialist plays a critical role by ensuring the accurate receipt, documentation, and distribution of incoming materials and packaged goods. This position requires close coordination with Quality Assurance, Production, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery of materials to the appropriate departments while maintaining strict adherence to cGMP and company SOPs.

Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods
  • Inspect shipments for damage, verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders, and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Accurately record received materials in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
  • Coordinate with the Quality team for material quarantine, sampling, and release procedures
  • Collaborate with Production Planning and Manufacturing teams to stage and dispense appropriate materials for use
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and segregation of materials in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area and ensure compliance with warehouse safety protocols
  • Support inventory cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies
  • Escalate and document any non-conformance or damaged goods per SOP
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and other quality compliance initiatives as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and inventory control systems preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift – certification a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $57,000; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies, and industry-specific knowledge.
