As a Warehouse Receiver / Counter Salesperson at Andrew Sheret Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently organizing incoming inventory and serving customers in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damages, accurately recording inventory levels, and providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with warehouse staff to maintain an organized receiving process and with counter staff to expand your knowledge and skills.

Wage range is $20.50-$24.00 per hour, scaled with relevant experience and/or education.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operate forklift, hand cart, or pallet jack for loading and unloading inventory
• Create quotes to meet customer needs
• Respond to customer inquiries in person and over the phone
• Receive and verify incoming shipments
• Unpack, organize, and store stock
• Assist customers with loading vehicles
• Clean and organize the warehouse and yard
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs
• Maintain excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of machinery used to transport and store materials
• Basic understanding of inventory management
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards
• Ability to work well with others
• Completion of Grade 12
• Familiarity with industry and/or products
• Previous warehouse or retail experience
