Andrew Sheret Limited, a Western Canada plumbing and heating supplier, is hiring a Warehouse Receiver at our Victoria branch. You will receive shipments, verify contents, inspect for damages, and record inventory while collaborating with warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, hand cart or pallet jack for loading/unloading.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments.
• Unpack, store and organise stock.
• Assist customers with loading vehicles.
• Maintain warehouse and yard cleanliness.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.

As a Warehouse Receiver at Andrew Sheret Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently organising the incoming inventory. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving shipments, verifying their contents against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damages, and accurately recording inventory levels. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organised and efficient receiving process.

Wage is $20.50 per hour. Wages may be scaled with relevant experience and/or education.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift, hand cart or pallet jack for loading and unloading inventory
• Endless opportunities for advancement

• Assist customers with loading vehicles
• Clean and organise the warehouse and yard
• Capable of lifting 50lbs minimum an asset

Essential:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid BC Driver's License
• Excellent organisational skills
• Knowledge of machinery used to transport and store materials
• General understanding of inventory
• General knowledge of workplace safety
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong problem solving skills
• Data entry skills
