Job summary

Life Health Products LP in Calgary, Alberta seeks a warehouse picker to support distribution operations. You will pick materials, lift totes, and assemble pallets for shipping, while performing basic quality checks on products and packaging.

Candidate must be able to stand for 8-hour shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and have authorization to work in Canada; driving to the Calgary warehouse is required and safety and neatness in the work area are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Pick materials and products manually for distribution warehouse
• Lift totes off racking to station for packing (approx. 40 lbs)
• Perform basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, strength testing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance
• Fold & taps boxes, apply labels, and stack boxes on pallets/conveyor according to directions
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing all components and sub-components for all cases, boxes and displays
• Ensure that all warehouse equipment and tools are properly utilized to increase productivity and efficiency
• Utilize proper techniques for lifting, packing, and handling heavy objects, proper cutting techniques, reaching and pushing/pulling
• Monitor inventory levels on applicable component product lines to ensure properly packed products
• Ensure that your work area is neat, safe, organized and packing materials restock at all times
• Responsible for the careful handling of merchandise at all times
• Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy or quality standards for work performed.
• Assembly of mass orders by weighing and shrink wrapping pallets
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand on their feet for 8 hour shifts
• Candidate must be able to drive to Calgary warehouse and must have authorisation to work in Canada.
