Job description

Order Picker/Warehouse Operative – Mornings

This is a temp to perm contract, all candidates have the potential to earn a permanent position within our client’s team. Upon gaining a contract you will have access to a wide range of benefits such as bike to work scheme, cinema discounts, health & fitness benefits.

**Due to shift times, candidates must live local to Goldthorpe or have their own means of transport**

Pay Rate: £12.50, increasing after 12 weeks to £13.84

Job Type: Temp to perm

Location: Goldthorpe, S63

Hours: 05:00-13:00 (finish time subject to change, shifts can be roughly between 7-9 hours)

Monthly 5/7 rota, so must be flexible to work weekends.

The Role:

1. Achieving daily pick rates/KPI's.
2. Voice picking using a headset.
3. Driving/operating a LLOP (low level order picker).
4. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
5. Make sure products are secured, marked up correctly, and in the correct area for dispatch.
6. Can be physically demanding.
7. Ensure the workplace is kept clean and tidy and ensure all spillages/breakages are cleared immediately.
8. Full coaching and training is provided alongside and throughout a 12 week structured training plan tailored to the department and the employee.

The Candidate:

1. No previous experience needed as full training will be provided.
2. Must live locally or have own means of transport due to shift times.
3. Good attitude towards work.
4. Reliability.
