Warehouse Picker

Job description
A great chance to join a growing company with a steady, secure job with benefits! Our company specializes in grocery delivery to restaurants and supermarkets. As a warehouse picker, you will be integral to our operation.

SHIFT SCHEDULE
· Morning Shift: from 4:00 AM until 14:00 PM with an unpaid 30-minute break
· Open to work on statutory holidays and weekends

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
2. Place items on pallets, and secure with stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and strapping by properly using packaging materials, including hand tools.
3. Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.
4. Identify and dispose of defective items.
5. Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse.
6. Load and unload trucks using totes, jacks, and forklifts.
7. Comply with OSHA and other safety regulations.
8. Maintain a clean work area.
9. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to work independently.
2. Ability to use forklift or pallet truck.
3. Ability to lift 50lbs.
4. Positive attitude.
5. Attention to detail.
6. Ability to communicate in English, and/or Chinese.
7. Understanding of food products is an asset.
