Job summary

McKesson Canada seeks a dependable warehouse associate in Mount Pearl, NL. The role involves picking, packing, loading and shipping products to customers, while replenishing stock as required by policy.

You will operate RF scanning equipment and contribute to a safe, efficient distribution center. The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual and comfortable working various shifts, with forklift certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.

Location:

Mount Pearl, NL, CAN (MC18)

Shifts available:

Tuesday – Thursday 7:45am – 4:15pm

Pay Rate: Pay Rate: 17.00$ - Salary progressive scale: 0-3 months = $17/hr, 3-9 months = $18/hr, 9-12 months = $19/hr. 12 months = current job rate of $26.49/hr. There is also a shift premium of $1.25/hr in addition to these rates.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, loading and shipping products to customers and replenishing inventory stock as established by policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

• Physical requirements: lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
• Must be willing to learn and use various technology such as an RF scanner
• Proven ability to be a team player and work in a team environment
• Reliable and punctual and willing to work various shifts
• *Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within a 30-day period on low level machinery, reach truck, order picker, or other power industrial equipment preferred*

Basic Qualifications

• Strong focus on customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Experience in a distribution center/warehouse/ manufacturing environment is an asset

Successful candidates must be willing and able to participate in a criminal record check as per Health Canada guidelines
