Position Overview:

Finning Canada is seeking a temporary Warehouseperson / Material Supply Assistant for a maternity leave coverage (approximately 18 months). You will be responsible for general shipping/receiving and warehousing duties at our facility in Red Deer.

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General Warehouse duties
  • Picking and packing customer and branch parts orders for shipment
  • Sorting and binning incoming stock
  • Loading and unloading of the parts trucks
  • Dismantling and reassembly of racking
  • Adhering to strict timelines
  • Variety of other duties as assigned

This is a Monday to Friday (5x2) Shift Schedule

**Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement**

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision
  • TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets
  • Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, as well as computer literacy are also desired
  • Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar coding technology would be assets
  • A strong commitment to safety is imperative

**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement**
