Warehouse Person

Our Burnaby location is looking for a hard-working, reliable and punctual warehouse worker to come join our team. The successful candidate will have to be able to manage incoming and outgoing orders, stock and pick equipment with speed and accuracy, while maintaining a safe and positive work environment. This position is Monday to Friday with the hours of 8am to 5pm with the potential of overtime hours.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of entertainment equipment
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
• Receive and process rental equipment (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 Pounds
• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
• Proficiency in inventory software
• Team player with initiative and a positive attitude
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional communication

Conditions of Employment

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Current forklift license is considered an asset.
• Must have 4-5 years film industry experience, specifically with lighting and grip.
