Toromont Cat in Cambridge is seeking a Warehouse Person to join our team. The role supports day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure excellent service for internal and external customers.

The position offers full-time, permanent employment with a base salary of $39,940.00 to $49,927.50 CAD per year and a total rewards package with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma minimum.
• 1 year of warehouse experience required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours.
• Process parts orders, stock receipts and deliveries to customers.
• Maintain accuracy of physical and electronic inventory.
• Provide on-call weekend support for emergencies on a rotating basis.
• Safely operate a lift truck.
• Package and ship dangerous goods.
• Assist with inventory organization and control.

Toromont Cat is looking for a Warehouse Person to join our team in Cambridge! The Warehouse Person plays a key role in coordinating and executing day to day operations in the warehouse to ensure the entire team is providing superior service to the internal and external customers.

Compensation

$39,940.00 to $49,927.50

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
• Perform all daily functions of the Parts Operations including parts warehouse duties as necessary, including processing shop and customer orders, stock order receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers, processing incoming and outgoing freight and stock transfers
• Ensure customers’ needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
• Help maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory
• Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis
• Safely operate lift truck
• Packaging and shipping of dangerous goods
• Assist with the organization and control of inventory

Must-haves for this role:

• High School Diploma Minimum
• 1 year experience in a warehouse environment
