Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood products such as pallets, crates, and skids.
• Pack items for shipping and distribution.
• Inspect wood products for quality standards.
• Operate machines such as compressors and drills.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean workspace.
• Assist with receiving materials and facility upkeep.
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks and related equipment.
• Use pneumatic tools and machines as directed.
• Inspect received goods and keep work areas tidy.

Job Description

• Assemble wood products such as pallets, crates, skids
• Pack items for shipping and distribution- PACKAGER ONLY
• Install hardware; inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards
• Read and interpret instructions to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Be knowledgeable of and follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide assistance to other activities such as the receiving of materials or cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
• Operate pneumatic hammers, strapers and other tools as directed
• Operate machines or equipment such as compressors, generators, drill presses, table saws, chop saws and cranes as directed
• Inspect received goods
• Keep work areas neat and tidy
