Job summary

Aramark in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support receiving, labeling, and organizing inventory while ensuring accuracy and safety. You will follow SOPs, perform counts, and help maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lb and carry up to 35 lb.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect products, label items, and report discrepancies.
  • Organize and store incoming products, apply FIFO for perishables.
  • May train and operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Pick inventory to assemble orders and replenishments.
  • Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
  • Load, unload, and transport items to various areas or client locations.
  • Conduct routine physical inventory counts and maintain logs.
  • Complete administrative duties for inventory records and safety logs.
  • Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety policies.
