Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Warehouse (Shipping and Receiving) Operator in Saskatoon to manage receipt, storage and shipment of materials and to support accurate inventory control. You will audit goods, coordinate schedules, and maintain container flow while ensuring space utilization and equipment protection.

The role involves safety compliance and teamwork in a dynamic mining environment. The successful candidate will have at least one year in warehousing, forklift experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum of one year of warehouse or inventory experience.
• Experience in mining operations is considered an asset.
• Experience operating a forklift is required.
• Experience using computerized inventory management systems.
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Account for all materials and supplies in the facilities; audit goods received into warehouse.
• Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
• Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
• Process sales orders and invoices.
• Update and maintain the warehouse location system.
• Participate in customer on-call services as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations.
