SALARY: 19.30$ per hour

SHIFT: 40-hour work week. Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm and 3pm -11pm

LOCATION: 225 Horseshoe Lake Drive, Halifax NS

START DATE: mid-April/early May

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Picking orders while operating an electrical pallet jack and a layer pick forklift in a safe effective manner following safe work practices.
  2. Shipping and receiving while operating a forklift in a safe effective manner following safe work practices.
  3. Must be able to bend, stand, sit and lift up to 50lbs in a continuous and repetitive manner.
  4. Stacking product in rows up to 3 high after receiving into the warehouse.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Be of Legal Drinking Age
  2. Engage in physical activities and manual labor as requested, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and bending.
  3. Lift object up to 50 lbs.
  4. Work on slippery floor.
  5. Lift object higher than the shoulders.
  6. Operate motorized equipment.
  7. Exposure to vibration.
  8. Ability to wear all PPE as required: including safety shoes, glasses and a hi-vis vest.
  9. Able to work shift work (Day, afternoons, occasional weekend).
