About the position

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing all warehouse duties as required.

What you’ll do:

  • Material handling of hazardous products
  • Responsible for safe, clean, and efficient operation of the facility and equipment
  • Operate warehouse equipment (Forklift/Drum Cart/Strapping Machine)
  • Shipping, receiving, reprocessing, chemical handling, inspecting, cleaning, and testing, ensuring accuracy and maintaining consistent product quality
  • Operate production machinery with precision and attention to detail
  • Cleans and maintains the warehouse and equipment
  • Some outdoor work required in various weather conditions
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Work with air, water, and steam pressure
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

What we would like from you:

  • High school diploma or equivalent working experience
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, computer and clerical skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work within company policy
  • Independent judgement is demonstrated
  • Forklift operation experience an asset
  • WHMIS and/or TDG training an asset
  • Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment
  • Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training
