Job summary

Baker Hughes Company in the City of Leduc, Alberta is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support inventory and move energy technology products. You will oversee inbound/outbound shipments and maintain stock records while collaborating with field teams.

Shift is 6:00 am–2:30 pm with overtime on weekends and holidays. Requires a high school diploma, forklift experience, and 3+ years in logistics; ability to lift heavy items and work with MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years forklift experience preferred.
• 3+ years in Logistics, Warehouse or Inventory Management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate receipt, loading, unloading and moving stock by forklift.
• Prepare shipments to field locations or customer sites.
• Update and monitor documentation for transactions and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on inventory and availability.
• Maintain stores equipment and perform warehouse cleanup to reduce inaccuracies.
• Unload bulk trucks and rail cars.

As a Warehouse and Yard Operator, you will help support the inventory of our innovative, unique energy products. You will oversee the delivery of our incoming and out-coming products and assemblies. You will be part of a collaborative team that plays an integral link in delivering our cutting-edge equipment to our customers.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Facilitating the receipt, loading, unloading and moving of stock materials by forklift to support business activities
• Preparing shipments to be dispatched to field locations or to customer sites
• Updating and monitoring documentation to record transactions and stock inventory levels
• Communicating with cross-functional teams to provide information and updates on excess inventory and product levels or availability
• Maintaining stores equipment and performing cleanup on various warehouses to identify inventory inaccuracies
• Offloading of bulk trucks & rail cars

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED and relevant forklift experience
• Have 3+ years experience of working within Logistics, Warehouse or Inventory Management environment
• Display the ability to identify and resolve problems and be able to implement effective improvements
• Be able to work the evening shift and overtime at weekends/holidays as required
• Show the ability to be a team player and work collaboratively
• Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office
• Have the ability to work in a physical environment, often involving lifting and moving of heavy products

Desired qualifications:

• Railway experience
• Chemical loading and unloading
• Chemical blending

Shifts are available: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm; overtime and some weekend work required as needed
