Warehouse Operator

Job Overview:

  • Unload and stage incoming freight and courier shipments for processing and QA review.
  • Receive approved orders into the ERP system, documenting quantity and shelf location for traceability.
  • Review ‘job status’ and ‘available to ship’ reports to identify completed orders ready for shipment.
  • Monitor weekly project schedules to ensure timely shipment of MSO (Material Send-Out).
  • Print pick lists, pack orders appropriately for the chosen mode of transportation, and create required shipping documentation.
  • Report inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate on-hand counts.
  • Order crates, pallets, and shipping supplies as needed.
  • Assist with Capital vendor direct shipments by preparing all necessary shipping documents.
  • Communicate with local vendors regarding ETA and shipment of parts as required.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older (required for forklift certification).
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • Warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings is preferred.
  • ERP familiarity is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word is preferred.
