About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play a vital role within the team by ensuring orders are picked and packed efficiently, ready for delivery to our customers. They are key to delivering excellent customer service through effective coordination of warehouse stock and understanding the importance of delivery timeframes.

Main Duties Include

1. Checking and storing supplier-delivered parts
2. Picking and loading vans accurately and promptly
3. Inspecting customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
4. Verifying stock quantities against computer records and ensuring proper storage in designated bins

Working Hours

Average hours are Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good team player
• Efficient work ethic with attention to detail
• Understanding of customer service and meeting deadlines
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry is desirable
