Job description

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-orientedWarehouse/Material Handling Associatefor a full-time role reporting to the local Branch Operations Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient receiving, handling, storage, staging, and shipping of doors and door hardware. You’ll collaborate closely with the fabrication team and Project Managers to ensure materials are accurately packaged and prepared in accordance with industry standards and project timelines.

Responsabilities

  • Receiving, packaging, and labeling of all shipments according to industry practices and using WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • Utilizing company specific software, field devices, and paperwork to maintain accurate inventory information.
  • Package and prepare door hardware, wood doors, steel doors, and frames for installation, delivery, or customer pickup.
  • Perform inventory counts using the company ERP software.
  • Recognize and communicate areas to improve to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Sorting stock materials from job materials
  • Utilizing hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment (including, but not limited to, box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, for lifts, drills, saws, etc.
  • Call customers or carriers to coordinate pick-up and delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a shipping and receiving role.
  • Experience operating a fork lift and pallet jack.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work under deadlines and multi-task.
  • Excellent customer and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Business Central, WMS experience, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong teamwork values.
  • Have the ability to safely lift 75 pounds
  • A High School diploma or a GED.
