Job summary

The Brick Group seeks a Warehouse Material Handler to join our Distribution Center team. You will report to the Distribution Manager and contribute to a customer-focused, safe, and efficient operation.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, picking and putting away products, and maintaining inventory knowledge. You will operate pallet jacks and other equipment while upholding safety and policy standards.

Qualifications

• Able to carry and lift product exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be able to meet deadlines.
• Experience operating order picker, pallet jacks, narrow aisle and counter balance is an asset.
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as required.
• Should pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Picking and put-away of all product types.
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions.
• Operate equipment, Power and non-powered equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures.
