Job summary

The Brick is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Edmonton to join our distribution team. You will report to the Distribution Manager and help load and unload trucks, pick and put away products, and maintain accurate inventory knowledge while operating equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Able to carry and lift product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading appliances, etc.)
• Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to meet deadlines
• Experience operating, order picker, pallet jacks, narrow aisle and counter balance is an asset
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as required
• Should pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Pick and store all product types.
• Maintain inventory knowledge incl. stock locations, model numbers and specs.
• Operate powered and manual equipment safely.
• Perform tasks safely per policies.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Picking and put-away of all product types
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions
• Operate equipment, Power and non-powered equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures
