The Surrey Distibution Center is seeking to fill the position of Material Handler

Key Responsibilities :

  • Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
  • Prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and tugger tractors.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks / railcars / export containers as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet warehouse goals.

Requirements :

  • Class 1 license is required
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and sit in a lift truck for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • The shift times are unknown as they could be Mon - Fri 3 : 30PM to Midnight or Fri - Mon 5 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM.
