Job summary

Stream-Flo Group of Companies, a Canadian manufacturer, seeks a warehouse/material handler to support production and物流 logistics in Edmonton. The role emphasizes safety, inventory accuracy, and efficient material flow.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, are self-motivated, and can prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Forklift/crane experience and SAP knowledge are advantageous for success in this position.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Internal forklift and crane experience is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Pull all material required for work orders and place into proper locations per schedule priority or instruction.
  • Unload, sort, inspect and store incoming material per receiving instructions.
  • Ensure safety rules are followed in lifting, devices and forklift operations.
  • Verify material picked matches work orders before release.
  • Record information from pick lists or RF guns (lot numbers, serials, etc.).
  • Ensure timely flow of paperwork for pick lists, POs, packing slips, etc.
  • Notify Purchasing and Manufacturing of shortages or delays.
  • Assist with loading/unloading of trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
  • Uncrating duties for overseas shipments.
  • Maintain and label goods and keep areas clean and orderly.

Key Position Functions
  • Ensure compliance with Stream Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies.
  • Pull all material required for work orders and place into proper locations per schedule priority and / or instruction.
  • Unload, sort, inspect and put away incoming material as per receiving instructions.
  • Ensure processes, lifting devices and forklift operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.
  • Check to ensure material picked work orders is correct before being released.
  • Record required information by pick list or RF gun which may include lot numbers, serial numbers, heat numbers, quantities, etc.
  • Ensure proper and timely flow of paperwork for pick lists, purchase orders, packing slips, etc.
  • Advise Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages or delivery delays.
  • Perform uncrating duties for overseas shipments.
  • Maintain, organize, and label goods, while keeping areas clean and orderly.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable standards / procedures, which many include:
  • API – American Petroleum Institute
  • ES – Engineering Specifications
  • ISO – International Standards Organization
  • JHA – Job Hazard Analysis
  • QAM – Quality Assurance Manual
  • QCP – Quality Control Procedures
  • WI – Work Instructions
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of previous related experience is preferred.
  • Self‑motivated, able to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Internal forklift and crane experience.
  • Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP would be an asset.
