Job summary

The Brick in Mississauga is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to join our distribution team. You will report to the Distribution Manager and perform loading/unloading, picking, and inventory knowledge with a customer-focused attitude.

This role offers a safe work environment, opportunities for advancement, and a benefits package. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required, and you're expected to pass a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• Able to carry and lift product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to meet deadlines
• Experience operating equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, narrow aisle and counter balance is an asset
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends
• Should pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Picking and put-away of all product types
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions
• Operate equipment, Power and non-powered equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures
