Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Whitby, ON. The Warehouse Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations within the warehouse, ensuring effective and optimized workflow. Responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound shipments, supervising warehouse staff, ensuring safe and optimized usage of operating equipment like forklift and reach truck. Cycle count and ensuring inventory accuracies are key. The ability to prioritize and organize staff, and ensuring the pick and pack process for fulfillment is optimized and accurate, is a key attribute required in the candidate. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate in real time with clients using shared space are essential. The manager will be responsible for ensuring the shipments are received and dispatched with accuracy and on set timelines. The candidate should be proficient in the use of WMS. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for maintaining inventory records and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating WMS system
• Experience in cycle counting
• Proficiency in operations management and inventory management
• License for forklift and reach truck is desirable
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse management is a plus
• 2 years of management experience in a warehouse is a must and 5 years is highly desirable
