Position Overview:

The Operations Manager oversees procurement, warehouse management, and distribution activities.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse staff and operations
• Review sales, purchase, vendor claims, and transfer orders
• Ensure safety and proper procedures
• Coordinate with vendors and regional buyers
• Manage inventory and control stock levels
• Perform cycle counts and manage freight and accounts payable
• Supervise order routing and shipment
• Train new employees
• Address defective goods and support sales efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years in industrial distribution or warehouse operations
• Experience managing a $5-10 million warehouse
• Leadership experience with 5+ employees
• Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of industrial product lines beneficial
• Must be 18+ years old
