Warehouse Manager

Conestoga Warehousing Ltd. – Burnaby, BC V5B 3B1

Employment type: Permanent, Full time (35 Hours per week) – Morning, Day, Evening. Salary: $45.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and solicit potential clients.
  • Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend appropriate goods or services.
  • Develop reports and proposals illustrating benefits from use of goods or services.
  • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or services.
  • Prepare and administer sales contracts.
  • Use sales forecasting software.
  • Provide input into product design tailored to client needs.
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services.
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Direct the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Hire, train, supervise and oversee staff.
  • Resolve product and service related problems.
  • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists.
Qualifications
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 1 to <2 years of experience (technical sales, warranty, or similar).
  • Strong computer knowledge: MS Office, MS Word, MS Windows.
