WAREHOUSE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The Maintenance position is responsible for the maintenance of company-occupied buildings including troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance based on customer needs and requirements.

What you will be doing:
- Minor repairs on conveyers and automated equipment to keep running during shift
- Analyses and diagnoses customer equipment problems and breakdowns
- Recommends the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problems
- Makes appropriate equipment repairs or modifications to solve operating and performance problems as dictated by the analysis of the customer’s equipment
- Performs scheduled equipment maintenance per customer contract
- Follows all scheduled maintenance procedures and policies as dictated by the company
- Documents each service call, providing the necessary paperwork
- Observes all safety procedures, and makes certain that hazardous waste is properly disposed
- Oncall weekends
- Other duties as required and assigned
- For food accounts, the incumbent is responsible for reporting food safety problems to senior management to initiate action.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger,
handle, or feel.
- The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The employee is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
- The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside
weather conditions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
- Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training in mechanical or electrical specialty
- Experience in electrical, plumbing, building systems, HVAC, and general maintenance
- Experience with automated machinery, hand and power tools, lifts, conveyer systems and hoists
- Possesses a forklift, reach and/or order picker PIT licence
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to communicate to various stakeholders
