Qualifications

• Prior leadership or team lead experience is a strong asset.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

The Opportunity

Join the Balzac location as a Warehouse Lead, where you'll support daily warehouse operations, lead and develop team members, and help ensure products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently. What You Will Do

• Develop and execute daily task plans in partnership with the Warehouse Supervisor and effectively delegate work to the warehouse team.
• Lead and support warehouse associates to ensure daily operational goals, delivery commitments, and customer expectations are met.
• Receive, organize, and put away inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, including preparing shipping documentation.
• Coordinate shipping priorities with freight carriers and internal/external customers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while promoting compliance with company safety procedures.
• Provide leadership coverage and operational support in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Partner with building leadership on employee development, succession planning, coaching, and disciplinary matters as part of a leadership development path.

What You Will Bring

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the distribution/warehouse field, ideally in a Plumbing/HVAC/R related field.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience is considered a strong asset.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members while building positive working relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industrial products is an asset.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Dependable, reliable, and proactive with a strong sense of accountability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
