Salary Range:

CA$25.00 To CA$27.00 Hourly

Company Overview:

Thrive Freeze Dry, a rapidly growing freeze-dried manufacturing company, is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Lead at our Langley, BC location, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. This role primarily involves day shift work, focusing on maintaining loading/unloading efficiency, preparing documents for receiving and transfer, overseeing warehouse operations, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor warehouse staff on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Proficiently use the WMS system to ensure warehouse operation efficiency.
• Conduct inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Complete proper documentation for record-keeping and inventory matching.
• Coordinate shipments and receiving with all departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Resolve issues or discrepancies during warehouse operations.
• Oversee the receipt and storage of incoming materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Forklift certification for Class 1, 4, and 5 is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial goods or raw materials environment.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.

Physical Environment:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly, and perform tasks requiring kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
• Comfortable working in temperature-controlled, refrigerated, or chilled environments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
