POSITION :

Scene Ideas Inc. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Labourer to support our busy warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive, and enthusiastic, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a collaborative team. While primarily based in our warehouse, occasional work at event sites may be required. Punctuality, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a drive to excel are essential qualities.

MUST HAVE :

• Legal right to work in Canada (e.g., valid work permit or permanent residency).
• Reside within a commutable distance from Richmond, BC V6X 2P1.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn inventory management and Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Forklift experience and certification are preferred.

OBJECTIVE :

Assist in supporting warehouse operations and event sites by managing inventory, handling equipment, and completing assigned tasks efficiently and on time.

GENERAL DUTIES :

1. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
2. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
3. Secure loads safely and protect fragile items during shipping.
4. Manage inventory including pulling, receiving, and maintaining stock for projects.
5. Perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
6. Accurately document all work performed.
7. Follow safety standards and procedural guidelines.
8. Support crews at event sites as required.
9. Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record is preferred.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective team communication and collaboration skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
