ROI Recreation Outfitters Inc., a North American distributor of international brands, is looking for a high energy, hardworking, self-motivated individual to be involved in our warehouse operations and support customers with product warranty and returns. The Warehouse Associate role is a permanent, full-time, on-site position, 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm, Monday to Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week. Head Office in Burnaby, BC – on site Minimum 5 years of experience working in a warehouse – picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and organizing inventory, inventory count, supplies procurement Strong computer skills; use of different types of system software Minimum of high school graduate. The Warehouse Operations Associate position is a multi-faceted role. You will be involved in all aspects of warehousing operations. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of the workflow within a warehouse to provide a high level of customer service. A list of representative duties and responsibilities for Warehouse Operations Associate are, but not limited to : - Be proficient in all aspects of warehouse operations - Follow detailed packing requirements and routing guidelines specified by customers - Responsible to maintain inventory accuracy - Process product returns and warranty return claims - Maintain and order a sufficient supply of packing material and shipping supplies - Perform inventory counts - Keep warehouse safe, clean, and organized - Find ways to improve warehouse organization and efficiency - Cover co-worker’s duties in the warehouse during their vacation - Special projects, tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by Managing Director or Business Administrator solid communication skills - superior time management to consistently meet project and task deadlines -computer and tech savvy, includes the use of technology and various software, but also the interest to seek and adopt new technologies - skilled in MS Office programs - use of Netsuite ERP warehousing software and asset -
